THE SUMMER MODELS OF THE 29er BIG

This summer, Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte will set sail with two new models from their popular 29er Big. With not one, but two colour options in summertime blue and sand, adding a punch of vibrancy this summer. The new models emphasise the nautical idea inspiration behind this watch family. The 29er watch family is inspired by the sporty 29er sailing skiff, in which young sailing stars compete in the German Sailing Association’s Junior Championship Class. These new variantions, in particular, pay homage to the fast-racing dinghy’s vibrant Gennaker sails.

While sunbathing, paddling, and playing in the sand are all great ways to have fun in the sun, this summer is all about sailing on the water and embracing the wind and waves. As a result, a veritable kaleidoscope of colours is now gracing countless lakes and coastal resorts with its presence. A prime example of this summer palette is the dynamic 29er sailing skiff, in which young sailing talents take to the helm to compete in the Junior Championship Class run by the German Sailing Association (DSV).

This summer, the family company from the German town of Glashütte is setting sail with two new colour choices for its successful 29er Big. The first model to make waves features a sand-coloured face accented with a nautical blue flange. While watch connoisseurs who like a more casual look can choose the corresponding marine blue canvas strap with a pin buckle, water-loving users will appreciate the three-link stainless steel strap with a butterfly clasp. The second vessel for team Mühle-Glashütte is distinguished by its pacific blue front and petrol-coloured flange. This style is also available with a canvas strap that adorns the wrist in a sand tint reminiscent of warm golden beaches. Prices are the same as on the previous 29er Big versions with canvas or stainless steel bracelets.
