RACING INTO SUMMER: THE STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION OF MEISTERSINGER’S ROBUST UNOMAT IN BRIGHT ORANGE
The Unomat is MeisterSinger’s most robust watch, with a water-resistant of 30 bar, being antimagnetic, having an extra-strong case back, a screw-down crown, and flank protection. Despite its distinctive case, it is clearly a MeisterSinger with its typical design features – the uncluttered design language, the stylised, overhanging needle-shaped hand, the double-digit hour numerals and the fine line hierarchy on the dial’s edge. The Unomat was released in 2021 and was awarded the desired Red Dot Design Award for its overall design concept.
… with bright colours
MeisterSinger presents a 50-piece limited edition in a striking orange colour this year. The distinctive needle-like hand, numerals, and appliqué hour markers all have luminous coatings that illuminate in the dark. The rubber strap perfectly complements the dial’s colour and is durable, elastic, cleanable, and comfortable to wear, emphasising the watch’s stylish, sporty appearance. The ideal watch for a carefree, energetic lifestyle and a laid-back summer vibe, in fact.
… and full speed ahead
The large Swiss Sellita SW400 automatic movement, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches, quietly ticks inside the Unomat. The date display is positioned unusually far to the outside of this movement and is therefore 30% larger than on an SW200 movement; its quick-set function makes it very easy to adjust. The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours. A sleeve located in the case is supplemented by a soft iron dial. The elaborate design makes the movement impervious to the radiation that is ubiquitous in today’s world and contributes to the watch’s autonomy.
