JUNGHANS PAYS HOMAGE TO ITS FOUNDER WITH TWO LIMITED EDITIONS IN 18CT GOLD

On 1st January 1823, 200 years ago, Erhard Junghans was born in the Black Forest. To mark this occasion, Junghans is launching two exclusive Meister fein models, the Erhard Editions. Limited to 200 pieces each, the watches pay tribute to the company’s founder, who, as history shows, was a visionary of his time.

As is Junghans style, the two models combine tradition with innovation. The design of the white polished dial reflects the company’s history: the normal typeface is replaced with the historical Junghans lettering. Especially designed for this release, the hour markers initially appear as elongated indices, but reveal themselves as particularly fine Roman numerals upon further inspection.

The cases, made of 18-carat white or yellow gold, seamlessly combine with the front and back, both made of spherically shaped sapphire glass, to form a perfect discus shape.
