DISCOVER THE MEISTERSINGER
For almost 25 years, MeisterSinger has been inspiring and delighting watch enthusiasts with its unmistakable single-hand timepieces. The MeisterSinger brand has gained worldwide recognition for its elegant, classic, timeless designs. With the Kaenos series, MeisterSinger is exploring new territory in the world of single-hand watches. The new product family has a distinctly sportier look and features everything that characterizes a true MeisterSinger, yet stands out clearly from the rest of the collection. The high recognition value and the beautifully balanced fine-tuning of all its details once again show why the MeisterSinger brand has already received 36 awards for excellent design from the most prestigious panels of experts. With a diameter of 40 mm, it is the perfect size to serve as a discreet companion in any situation.
Manfred Brassler, founder, designer, and managing director, explains: “At MeisterSinger we attach great importance to a clear design language. Our watches are said to be unmistakable and easy to identify, even from a distance. I am convinced that, as a concept, singe-hand watches essentially appeal to a wide range of people, regardless of age, gender, culture, or wearing habits. In the past, our focus had mainly been on classic, elegantly designed watches. With the Kaenos, we want to make the single-hand watch even more accessible – a watch that proves itself to be a reliable, helpful companion in everyday life while retaining the typical MeisterSinger character and the advantages of a single-hand watch.”
Each year, Watches and Wonders Geneva brings together the leading names in the industry as well as some exquisite and exceptionally fine and innovative brands. This year, MeisterSinger will be among the 60 brands showcasing their latest collections and innovations in Geneva from April 1 to 7. With its international appeal, Watches and Wonders Geneva is the ideal backdrop for presenting the Kaenos to a discerning, cosmopolitan audience.
The Kaenos was developed completely from scratch. The surfaces of the 40-mm case are partly polished and partly brushed, giving its body a particularly elegant and lively appearance. The integrated steel bracelet, which flows seamlessly into the case and also features both polished and brushed surfaces, offers not only stability but also a maximum of wearing comfort. The likewise redesigned, non-slip, easy-to-use crown bears the fermata symbol from the MeisterSinger logo, which denotes the ‘rest’ mark in musical notation. With water resistance of up to 10 bar, the Kaenos is well protected in any everyday situation.
The dial consists of two superimposed layers, with the numerals and hour markers of the upper layer neatly cut out to reveal a second, luminous layer underneath. The multi-layered structure creates a fascinating three-dimensional effect and at the same time provides strong luminosity for good readability in every weather as well as in the dark. The newly designed hour hand is also luminous and reminiscent of the dials of earlier measuring instruments, a typical MeisterSinger trait.
