THE 29ER BIG SMALL SECOND EDITION 1994
The first 29er was introduced in 2006. Since then, it has been one of the most successful watch families in our collection. The 42.4 mm model is now equipped with a decentralised seconds display for the first time. This not only introduces a new complication to the successful watch family but also gives it a completely new look.
The traditional look of the second display is given a contemporary interpretation in the new 29er. Within the scale, which is kept open on the inside, slim Arabic numerals are placed on a lighter sub-dial.
With the new model, a three-colour dial has been added to the 29er watch family. Its combination of an anthracite-coloured background, the lighter totaliser for the small second and the eye-catching bright blue flange represents colour harmony at its very best. In addition, the colour combination of subtle and stronger contrasts gives the 29er Big Small Second Edition 1994 a particularly dynamic effect.
The bright blue of the flange is already familiar from the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer Edition 1994. Here it adorned the various anniversary features and the second hand. In the new 1994 edition, it has thus established itself as a high-contrast anniversary colour.
In addition to the eye-catching flange, the 30 of the date display, the seconds scale, and the small seconds hand are in anniversary blue. In the minute scale on the dial, the number 55 has also been modified and replaced by 155: Because that’s how long ago the family business was first founded by Robert Mühle this year.
