PANGAEA 365
The Pangaea 365 combines tradition with state-of-the-art watchmaking craftsmanship.
A special limited series of 200 pieces in a historical style
Reinterpreting the pocket watch
For many years now, MeisterSinger has been a constant source of inspiration with editions and special models that reference watches from an era when wearable timepieces were still something rather unusual. The design of dials in a historical style was a natural choice in view of the fact that MeisterSinger goes back to the very beginnings of watchmaking with its single-hand concept. With the Pangaea 365, MeisterSinger is offering a special model of this kind at a price below €2,000 for the first time.
Pangaea 365
With its sleek, seemingly flowing case and a diameter of 40 millimeters, the Pangaea is one of the most elegant timepieces in the MeisterSinger collection. The fine serif typeface, which also features in the logo and the name of the model, the specially designed needle-shaped hand with its extra-long overhang, and the delicately finished indices at the edge of the dial all contribute to the overall visual appeal of this watch. Moreover, the ivory-colored dial, a typical MeisterSinger hallmark, is embellished with blue and red highlights. An imprint on the glass exhibition back emphasizes the fact that this watch is one of only 200 pieces manufactured.
Driven by perfection
The Swiss Sellita SW220 automatic movement, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches, quietly ticks inside the Pangaea Date. The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement can be easily viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back as it performs its high-precision task.
And when looking at the Pangaea 365 you can easily forget the time – quite automatically.
